I played some blackjack, then I played at roulette and moved on to another evening club. It turned into a very entertaining evening for me. I went to a dance club and of all things, ran into a friend of mine from Los Angeles. Frank was here on vacation and was taking in the local culture. We danced quite a lot. Before I realized it, it was nearly one thirty in the morning. I had to be up early so I decided I had better leave. I told Frank to have a nice vacation and we would compare notes when we got back to L. A. He wished me the same and I left. I found myself back at the Inn at nearly two a.m. and yet I felt very restless. I was packed and ready for our tour to begin in the morning but I continued to feel uneasy about something. I somehow felt I was being watched while I sat trying to relax in my room. I tried to read but could not concentrate long enough to understand what I read.
